“My understanding of radiation therapy was limited to what I’d learned on the job over the last few years.  But in 2023, my understanding changed dramatically and became first-hand knowledge as I was diagnosed with cancer.  My colleagues and I at the American Society for Radiation Oncology are firm believers in educating the public about the power and impact of radiation therapy, and I know that I have radiation therapy to thank for curing my cancer."
